 's contest.As well as a test for me, this was a great oportunity for me to try out some different colouring techniques, and I think I came through. = = = Valiant leant forwards in the saddle and pushed his hands forward, giving the young stallion some more slack, so he could really stretch himself. The race has been a success so far, Shattered had held his own against the other horses and his pace had been medium and even, but now, nearing the end, Valiant had given his young charge a longer rein so that he could sprint to the end. Time seemed to stand still as Shattered lengthened his stride. Valiant felt like he was sitting in mid-air even though his surroundings where still moving and therefore was not prepeared to shoot forward under the burst of speed given by Shattered. Once collected and even, Valiant grinned briefly. They had a pretty good chance now. - - - Shattered jsut coming down to the finishing length. The finish line is just ahead. Shattered (As Backlash) and Valiant are (c) to me. Comments
